Terms of Use
Last updated: October 8, 2026
By using biri.chat you agree to these terms. In short: be over 18, respect the people you talk to, and don't share anything illegal or harmful. Content that breaks the rules is removed and the person is banned.
1.Who these terms are between
These terms are between you, the person using the biri.chat website and app (the “service”), and Altunox LLC (30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States; “we”), which operates the service. They apply whenever you use the service, with or without an account.
How your personal data is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
2.Who can use biri.chat
biri.chat is for people aged 18 and over only. By using the service you confirm that you are over 18. If we learn that someone is under 18, we delete their account and content.
Someone who has been banned may not come back while the ban lasts, whether with a new account, another device or any other way.
3.How we keep the service 18+
To keep people under 18 out of the service, we take these measures:
- You must confirm that you are over 18 when creating an account. Without an account no one can get matched, chat, message or share.
- Every chat and post can be reported as “may be under 18”.
- When someone turns out to be under 18, their content is removed and their account and device are banned.
- Sharing phone numbers, emails and social media handles is blocked in anonymous chats; messages from new people arrive as requests, and no photos can be sent until a request is accepted.
4.The service
biri.chat offers, free of charge: anonymous text chat with someone online right now, personal links, public profiles, Discover, posts, stories and private messages to profiles. Getting matched, chatting, writing and sharing need an account; the Feed, Discover and profiles can be read without signing in.
We may change, add or remove features to improve the service. The service may be interrupted from time to time for maintenance, faults or security reasons. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Your chat transcripts are stored on your device; your ongoing chats are listed on every device you sign in on. In random chats the other person only sees your chat code; showing your profile is your choice.
5.Your account
You create an account with a one-time code sent to your email address or with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure: never share your sign-in code.
Your username and profile are public. You may not choose a name that impersonates someone, is misleading or is offensive; we may reset such a name or profile text.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. What deletion does is explained in the Privacy Policy.
6.Rules
When using the service you must not:
- Harass, threaten, insult or demean anyone, or use hate speech; target someone because of their race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or origin.
- Send sexual content the other person does not want, or share intimate images taken or shared without consent.
- Share any sexual content involving minors. We remove such content without warning, ban the person permanently and report it to the authorities.
- Share illegal content or facilitate illegal activity: drugs, weapons, gambling, fraud, or incitement to violence or crime.
- Send spam, advertising or scams, or direct people to other sites or services.
- Share someone else's personal details (name, address, phone number, photos) without their permission, or pretend to be someone else.
- Use bots or automated tools, collect data (scraping), try to get around security measures or bans, or upload software that could harm the service.
For your safety, phone numbers, email addresses and social media handles cannot be shared in anonymous chats; the system stops them before they are sent.
7.Your content
The messages you write, your profile and your posts are yours, and you are responsible for them. Do not share anything you have no right to share (for example, someone else's photo).
So that we can provide the service, you allow us to store your content and to show it to the person you are talking to or, for profiles and posts, to everyone. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account; messages already sent stay in the other person's chat until that chat is deleted.
Profiles and posts are public: anyone can see them and share their link. Posts have no public comments; writing to a post opens a private message to its author. Stories work like posts: they are public, follow the same rules, can be reported and delete themselves after 24 hours. When you watch a story while signed in, its owner sees you among its viewers.
8.Reports, content removal and bans
You can report a chat, message, profile or post that breaks the rules, and block the person, from inside the app. The last messages of a reported chat are kept for review (see the Privacy Policy).
If several different people report the same person within a short time, the system bans them automatically for a while; if 3 different people report the same post, it is hidden until it is reviewed.
We may remove content that breaks the rules, hide posts, delete profile photos or text, and suspend or permanently ban accounts and devices. For serious violations (such as content involving minors) we do not give prior warning.
Under Turkish Law No. 5651 we act as a hosting provider for content shared by users: we have no duty to monitor content in advance, but we review and remove content that is reported to us as unlawful. Send notices of unlawful content or violations of personal rights to support@biri.chat, with the address of the content (profile or post link, chat code) and the reason.
When the competent authorities make a lawful request, we share the information we hold as required by law.
9.Limitation of liability
biri.chat connects people with each other; it does not check what users write in advance and is not responsible for what they say or do. Be careful when talking to strangers: do not share personal details, your address or passwords, and do not trust anyone who asks for money.
The service is free and provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage caused by interruptions of the service, loss of data or the conduct of other users. This limitation does not cover damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, nor any rights you have by law as a consumer.
10.Ending the service
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. If you break these terms, we may restrict or close your access.
If we decide to shut the service down completely, we will announce it on the site in advance.
11.Changes
We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top.
We announce changes on the site before they take effect. A change that works against you applies to you only once you accept it; if you don't, you can stop using the service and delete your account.
12.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Your rights as a consumer are not affected: in Türkiye you can apply to the consumer arbitration committee or consumer court of your place of residence, and if you live in the EU you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
